Privacy Policy

This policy explains what data Cage Analytics collects, how it's used, and how it's protected.

What We Collect

Email address — used to identify your account and send transactional emails (password resets).
Password — stored as a one-way hash. We cannot read your password.
Subscription data — your plan tier and Stripe customer ID. Payment details (card numbers, etc.) are handled entirely by Stripe and never touch our servers.
Usage data — we log page visits and feature usage (which pages you visit, which API endpoints are called) to understand how the service is used and improve it. Logs include a one-way hashed version of your IP address (we cannot reverse it to identify you), your browser's user agent string, the referring URL, and — if you are logged in — your account ID. Raw IP addresses are never stored.

How We Use It

Your data is used solely to operate your account, process your subscription, and send essential transactional emails (password resets, billing). We do not send marketing emails without your consent.

Third Parties

We share data with the following services only to the extent necessary to operate:

Resend — transactional email delivery. Subject to Resend's Privacy Policy.
Advertising partners — may receive anonymized, aggregated data about site usage (e.g. popular features, session counts). No personally identifiable information is shared.

We do not sell, rent, or share your name, email address, or any data that could identify you personally with any third party.

Data Storage

Account data is stored in a secured database hosted on Railway. Data is retained for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion at any time by contacting us.

Your Rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by emailing support@cageanalytics.com. We will respond within 30 days.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. We'll update the date at the top when we do. Continued use of the service constitutes acceptance.
